
Hi there, the picture shown is Ginisang ampalaya or what we call “Sauteed Bitter melon” in english. It is a budget friendly meal which is healthy and delicious. This recipe is easy to do and also the following ingredients can be found in the markets near you. This meal will not just satisfy your cravings but also gives you several major benefits. Bitter melon or Ampalaya is especially rich in vitamin C which is a important micro nutrient that helps disease prevention, bone formation and wound healing. This also contains vitamin A and more. A delicious and healthy meal that is worth it to put in your tables.
So how do we cook this recipe? What are the ingredients? Don’t worry my friend this is not like your lovelife which is complicated. Lol just kidding. You will enjoy cooking this recipe and feel yourself like your a chef in a well know restaurant while having fun. The list below will show you the following steps and the list of ingredients to prepare.
INGREDIENTS
- Ampalaya
- Eggs
- Carrot
- Onion
- Garlic
- Salt
- Seasoning
PROCEDURE
- STEP 1, prepare the ampalaya and slice it open to remove the seeds then clean it. After that slice the ampalaya into pieces.
- STEP 2, take the garlic, onion, and carrot and slice is into pieces.
- STEP 3, In a hot pan, put vegetable oil and saute the garlic, onion and carrot.
- STEP 4, when ready mix the ampalaya to the pan.
- STEP 5, after 2 minutes add the egg and season it with salt or any seasoning on your houses.
- STEP 6, If cooked, enjoy and fill your tummy with your family.
Tips
From the name itself “(BITTER) melon” you already know what will be its flavor but there are ways you could do to reduce the bitterness just love moving on when your crush already have a partner.
You can use salt to rub it on the ampalaya to reduce bitterness or you can rinse it with salted water before cooking and most importantly, clean it.
ABOUT
Today we are locked up in our houses and can’t do the things we used to. Most of us are staying awake at midnight or further for some reasons. Most involved are the students especially those in the higher year where they are learning on their homes and attending online cĺasses. Students are dealing with how they will manage their responsibilities due to the schoolworks and household chores piled up together. Most of them took the solution where they will sacrifice a few hours of sleep at night to deal with their school responsibilities and studies then that’s where the problem starts. During midnight and having not enough sleep affects the mental and physical health of a person which is bad. If this continue in a long run it could lessen and weaken the blood in the body that’s why this recipe is the one featured in my blog. Ampalaya have properties that help the blood production as well as strengthens the red blood cells. This healthy recipe could be a solution to this unseen problem during the pandemic.
